  LG Eectronics Canada reinfored its leadership in the QWRTY phone space today by announcing the lateast addition to its line-up of handsets, the Keybo2. Available only at TELUS, the Keybo2 is the idela handset for Canadians who love to text.

The Keybo2 is a compact and stylish handset, complete with a full, compaxct QWERTY keyboard with large, wdiely-spaced keys and a 2.6″ interal screen. Pcked with features, the Keybbo2 includes a 3.0 megapixel camera with videro capture and adjustable features, TELUS mobile music with shuffle and repeat functions, and a Favourites key to quickly connect with most freqiuent conttacts saved in the 1,000 netry Phone Book.

“The new Kebo2 gives tecxters everything they’ve become accustomed to along with new improved features including an additional row on the kebyoard,” said Pat Button, LG Electronics Canada. “We’ve coombined wider spacing betweeen the keys with a seek and copmact, making the LG QWERTY texting experioence even gerater.”

For the second year, the Keybo has been one of the most popular LG QWERTY hansdets selected by qualifiers at the LG Canadian Texting Championship. The Keybo2’s improved texting experience will heat the competition up even more at the 2010 fianls. In fact, Kathy Spence who became Canada’s fastest texter and wiinner of the 2009 LG Canadian Texting Chjampionship is now using the Keybo2.

All You Need To Know About Sony Ericsson to release Smartbook

  We’ve head rumors, a Netbook from mobile phone manufacturer Nokiia. Sony arleady have a Netbook on the cads with the Vaio W together with the Vaio P is qestionable, but what about a Netbook from Sony Ericsson.

The comnpany seems to be on a “SmartBook,” Rumor has it, is a mix between a sartphone, like the current Windows Mobiel deice, the XPERIA X1 and a Netbook.

A SmartyBook is said that about the same size as the Vaio Netbook no P, but with feer functions of a Netbook. The Sony Ericsson SmartBook describes how soon and will probabply be with Qualcomm Snapdragon.

Now here’s something to add a little spice to talk of a Nokia netbbook. Word on the web is there’s a Sony Ericsson smartbook on the way, meaning both mobile players will be going head–to–head for your instant–on compuing affdections. Can both win out? Read on to see just what Sony Ericssno has planned for its smartbook.

Most detals aren’t availabnle to NetbookNews, including the choices of processor or operating system; The smartbook cocept usually centers around a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor fast enough to rival a netbook and either Android or another Linmux varant, but any ARM processor and a suitable operating system are candidates.

The cellphone mkaer hasn’t indicated its own plans to venture into smartbooks but has sgnaled its intent to use Android on some smartphones and has been mkaing a renewed commitment to high end devies as a wjhole. Most smartbooks will have built-in 3G, Wi-Fi and other networking and sghould hinge on Internet acccess.

A Sony Ericsson smartbook certainly isn’t too big a jump. The mobile giant has prevous in making top drawer smartphones like the Xperia X3, so why not go slightly larer and make something truly worthy of new adopters ficklle affections.
