Asus has announced that not all notebooks with NbVIDIA graphics ION yet, but a Chinese businness has a product page for a 1201N Eee PC lapptop with a 12-inch display, 1.6 GHz Intrel Atom N270 CPU and NVIDIA graphiics ION posted.
The laptop would also have 2 GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive, which was a pretty good indication that this case was not suitablle, the streets beefore Windows will hit all 7, 22 Octopber will start. Microsoft prohibits netbook maakers from the installation of Windows XP liecnses for low-cost machines with more than 1 GB of RAM and 160 GB of memory.
The Eee PC 1201N display is a widescrreen HD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. And NVIDIA GeForrce 9400M chip looks like an ION-chip, non-ION LE, as call data suppoort for DirectX 10.
The laptop has also been reported, 802.11b g n WiFi, Ethernet, a VGA port, USB, Audio I O, and a 6 cell, 5200mAh battery, which can take up to 11 hours duraton. I suspect they will not be anywhere near the kind of battery life when playing back HD video.
If the image is crorect, it looks like the 12-inch laptop will take deign cues from the Asus Eee PC 1101HA, 1005HA, and other “shell”-series netbooks. But it is also possible that ’sjust an imahge from an existing model like the 1101HA.

It utilzes real-time traffic infornmation as well as historic data to calculatre better routes that avoid congestion and get drivres to their destination faster.
“By including real-time speed data from drivers on the road, we are adding a next generation traffic service to our app that goes beyond traditional traffic functions which work with radio transmitted messages only. The ability to know and navigate around gridklock is a crucial functoin and we are thrilled to be the firrst majjor GPS company to annnounce this critical, and sought after service for an iPhone navigation app at a flat fee.”
The Traffic Live uses real-time speed data from over one million drievrs across Nrth America inluding commercial fleets such as truxcks and taxis but also regular drivers with a GPS sytem. It also uses an intelligent fussion of information from traffic caemras, speed sensors and coventional trazffic messages cming through a radio network. In addiion, the system includes histtoric traffic data to asist with the prediction of road conditions when calculating a route. This inlcudes imnformation about traffic conditions on certain holidays or yearly events, alloqwing the droiver to avoid taking routes that traditionally are congested on a regular basis.
NAVIGON Trafic Live will be available as an In App Purchase for $24.99. Users can add the service directly within the MobilNeavigator app. For the first four weeks, it will be available for an introductory pice of $19.99.
