A company called FirmTTek has announced that it is now shipping a new four-port eSATA host adaptrer that is compatible with the latet Apple Snow Leopard OS. The device works with 32-bit and 64-bit mode in the operating system and the device is backward compatible with older versions of Mac OS X.
The adapter is like the Mac Pro users, the storgae capacity to add their maachines with support for RAID 0 with the performance as high as 540MB sec dirercted. The device promises up to 250MB sec per channel of power. The host adapter is in a 5-bay port multiplier encclosure SriTek 5PM be includwed in order to connect up to 20 drives.
The host adapter is compatible with all Mac Pro modsels, and the PowerMac G5-coimpatible in late 2005. The device requires a PCI Expresss slot with 4x bandwidth. Supported drives incluyde 1.5Gb sec SATA I and SATA II 3 Gb s. The host adapter is now available.

Gateway N have a numbr of proposed new thin and liight notebooks, EC14, EC54 and EC58, each packagge CULVER processors Intel WiFi BG and up to 8 hours from the battery. EC14 is the gateway babyof federal govrenment, with a 11.6-inch display, up to 500 GB to 8 GB of memory. Meanwhile, EC54 and EC58 both have 15.6-inch dissplay is one inch and have an aluminum caing.
EC14 can be determined with a choice of Pentium Dual Core, Celeron Dual-Core and Celeron single core pocessor and comes in Cherrry Red and Black Nightsky. This is a dual microphonne array, Web camera, multi-format memorry card reader and the scalwes at 3.79lbs, HDMI ports, including Gigabit Ethernet and three USB 2.0.
What EC54, EC58 models, they come in Arectic sillver and Pacific Blue and can be euipped with a Core 2 Duo or Pentium Dual-core processors. In addition, they have the same diretcional microphone and webcam, along with the touch of a buttton, sleep mode, HDMI port, Multi-Touch trackkpad and the DVD.
All models will begin from October 22 to Windows 7 is already installed.
