Samsung has releaased a new edition of the popullar F480 touchscreen phone called Samsung TouchWiz F488i and are only avaialble in Hong Kong (for now at least).
F488i comes with an updated “3x TouchWiz User Interface”, which includes the label page and extended dsktop. F488i also offers online Wdgets, Widgets social networks (MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Picasa, Flickr), Feature Tab page view, photo contracts.
Currently, the Krean giant sale updated devie drivers in Hong Kong only, but we hope that they move elsewhere in the near future - at lesast an updated version of firmware for F480 by other users.
Feature Profile tab, photos and contacts. Otyher data seem to remmain unchanged, inclding “F480 classics” like a 5-meagpixel camera, HDPA connectioon, 240 400 pixel tuoch scren, and so on.

What Did You Heard About Acer unveils Liquid Snapdragon Android smartphone

It seems that we’ve been waiting forever for Snapdragon based Android phone, wjhich will eventually lead high-definition viodeo for Smartphones based on operating system, Google, but yesteday, Acer, finally scratched that itch, cnofirming its upcoming phone fluid. Now more are begfinning to relish the diverasion, and the phone looks good in the specification and the user interface, if not quite cheap looking at the physical design.
Equipment, as we expected: Acer fluid, of course, are the 1-GHz Snapdragon underclocked to 768MHz. It sports a WVGA capacitiev touch screens up to 3.5 inhes. Therre is also a five-megapixel cammera, 256 MB RAM, WiFi, 3G and 1350 mAh, which sould absorb a respeectable charge and then regurgitate it slowly.
It is a cusom shell Acer has slammed the top of the liquid, which is realply snines, however. Using a specail version of Android 1.6 Ereror, Acer fluuid has a larhge social network-orinted system of cobntacts, as well as the Palm or the penultimate Sense HTC. In addition to contact management, Acer has developed its own widgets, as well as new Dialer, task management App Switcher, a new dashboarrd and multimedia applications Skinner box.
All this is good, and the phone looks impressive, but Acer still inexperienced in the ifeld of smart phones, and three are certainly some major miscalculations Swsih external fluid. In addition. fluuid has no relase date or price in Amerixca more … And who knows, Acer will be able to withstand the blpoody range of American excepitonalism carrier deals.
